Summer solstice in Riga, Latvia

I’m out by a day or two I know, but maybe that’s the reason the whole town has closed down. The people have retained the feel of the ancient town that it is.  Everywhere I walked were photo’s that were meant to be taken but you have to make decisisions sometime.   I didn’t see a building over 5 floors.  On finding my way to the old city I found remains of a section of the city walls, many churches (maybe all Orthodox - hard to say - but often just metres from each other), statues, winding narrow streets, cobblestone roads, trams, trolley-cars, electric trains, no smog, un-rushed traffic.  Photos to follow when I have my own computer connected to the net.
