Early evening walks

With twilight still being around at 9.30 it’s easy to walk late in the day.  The funicular steps are an easy way to get some exercise so I headed there again but finally took a photo of this road sign that I’d been meaning to take for a long time.  (Did I include one from Flickr a while back?)

Does it mean to walk, to run, to do neither?  Certainly no-one pays attention to the horn sign.

This statue is at the base of the funicular.

Hundreds of buildings are undergoing a face lift in what was apparently in preparation for the Olympics.  The process continues despite having failed to reach the final four of the 2016 Olympics.  Workers don’t wear hard hats, and people are not always blocked from using the footpath.  Late last year one lot of scaffolding collapsed.  I didn’t hear of any injuries however.
