This is an astoundingly clever way of presenting statistics over several decades. It looks at international data on life-expectancy and income. You can select any country or combination you wish to highlight. Notice how much China has advanced in the last 55 years.
I think we’ll be using this in our units of inquiry next school year.

Its a great tool! Its fascinating to look at specific countries. Click “Play” with Congo selected to start at 1950. Iraq is just as fascinating. It would be interesting to look at some countries like that, and try and plot where drought occurred, where war was in progress. Ethiopia is one I’d like to examine that way.
