Some time back I signed up with Kiva to provide loans to people who are attempting to become self-sufficient by starting small businesses .  I was linked to an Azeri woman who has already started to repay her loan of $1000 after buying three calves and feed.

• Through studying children’s lifestyles at school we learnt that street children in Baku are increasing in number.  We also learnt that during the Soviet days people didn’t fall through the cracks like they do now.
