Church

Did I tell you that I’m going to an evangelical church two streets from my apartment?  Preaching is in Azeri and translated to Russian and also vice-versa.  I sit where an interpreter translates for around a dozen English speakers.  It feels a little like Pentecost.   The congregation, Greater Grace,  meets in a Lutheran church, which I’m told is in Russian and sometimes German.  The congregation meets again on Sunday night in their apartment / church.  They also meet again on Wed night along with other nights when they run a Bible college.

There’s lots of singing and performances from young and old and services go for almost two hours.  Hmmm… that’s quite a while.
