Week Four of Term almost done

The weeks fly here. Life is getting easier.  I now have broadband, I can email from my email program rather than needing to rely on  the website or the school email address, however I still can’t Skype from my laptop.  Not sure how to fix that one as it’s a strange problem.

The lastest in the grand-daughter photos.

The mornings are getting dark.  In a few weeks it will be dark when we’re waiting at our bus-stop.  There are around 7 of us who gather at the corner, but after the Oct break I will have lost my two immediate neighbours as they have gone to a higher level of living in better apartments.  While I started with better accommodation I think I will also put in a request to move.

At the moment I am passport-less.  It went off to be processed in order to get my work-visa but hasn’t returned.  I am going to Space Camp in Izmir,  Turkey at the end of next week so if it doesn’t come we will all be a little embarrassed.

Tomorrow I have the first of my electives after school that are offered to students.  I’m offering a magic club where kids share their magic tricks and we talk about presentation etc.  I have a full house of 18 kids.  The only sad part is that it’s on a Friday afternoon.
