Award Ceremony Folk Dance

Today was the Award Ceremony for the Elementary School. Most of my 5C girls performed a folk dance in national costume, or at least one of the costumes. I mentioned that I saw them last week and promised myself that I’d take the camera. The photo doesn’t do the dance justice but at least you get a sense of colour and movement.

Then there’s the end-of-year ritual of getting signatures on your t-shirt.

… and here are some 5C girls checking out the Science and Maths magazine (on my office floor) that some of them had articles in. The school publishes a host of magazines each year – along with treating the arts rather well, this is something that Koç does rather well.
